Swift was formed by Irv Selby in response to a growing demand by both clients and job seekers, for an organisation that better understood the requirements of the industry and which could provide a more personalised and efficient service.

Swift specialises in permanent, contract and temporary hire within industry segments of administration, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, process and production workers.

Irv has assembled an experienced and trained team that provides a timely and professional service. Our proactive and innovative approach, complimented with our personalised service, has seen Swift develop long-term relationships with both client and job seekers.

Swift Personnel is also totally committed to the proper management of Work Health & Safety which ranks equally with all other operational procedures. Our on-going contact with our clients, our temp staff and industry organisations and knowledge of regulations ensures that W H & S standards are continually met.

Irving Selby – Managing Director

Irv has been in the recruitment industry since 1990. He rapidly realised a gap in the market and a need to better service the industry. In 1991 he established his company with the sole mission to provide a more personalised service to both clients and job seekers. With a strong sales background and great determination, Irv was the main force behind Swift Personnel’s growth and continues to successfully manage the company today.

Agnes De Leon – Senior Recruitment Consultant

Agnes started her career at Swift Personnel in 1995 as the payroll and administration clerk. Her great enthusiasm and passion for the industry saw Agnes complete courses in industry recognised WH & S and Human Resources. She was soon promoted to become our Senior Consultant. Her excellent knowledge of and dedication to our clients’ requirements, great interpersonal skills and proven experience in building long-term relationships, has ensured the total satisfaction of both our clients and job seekers.

Fira Gammer – Chief Financial Officer

Fira was hired by Swift Personnel in 1992 as a casual employee. Her dedication to her job, strong financial background, cost analysis and accounting experience led the company to offer her a full time position. Today, Fira manages the day to day running of the office, plans, directs and prepares financial reports and has extensive knowledge of all regulatory requirements relevant to the business, our market and industry.

Tom McJannett – GM Sales

Tom comes from a background in management and sales. His easy going and calm attitude will help develop current relationships with our existing clients and help with the establishment of new clients. Tom is a team player and represented Australian in water polo with over 50 test caps to his name. He is also a volunteer lifeguard and former board member at the South Maroubra Surf Club.

Krysta Millard – Recruitment Consultant

Krysta started off with Swift in 2010 as a receptionist and by her drive and general interest in consulting has worked her way up to a recruitment consultant position working alongside Agnes and Fabiana. Krysta comes from a retail management background which has developed her strong customer service skills. She is responsible for all advertising and social media outlets for the company, as well as helping Agnes with recruiting staff and screening all candidates for positions.

Brooke Rigopoulos – Work, Health and Safety Officer & HR Manager

Brooke has joined Swift to oversee the WHS requirements for the company. She is responsible for all the WHS reports and assisting with the workers compensation area for Swift. Brooke has a Degree in Applied Science from Sydney University and is a qualified Occupational Therapist. With her experience and driven attitude, Brooke is an asset to the Swift team. On her spare time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family and travelling overseas.

Melinda Vergara – Payroll/Accounts

Melinda recently joined the company as Payroll/Accounts she is responsible for wages and is supporting Fira with administrative work. She is currently undertaking Master of Professional Accounting and in the process of completing her CPAA certification. Before Swift, Melinda worked as Senior Accountant in various company in United Arab Emirates and in Philippines which honed her solid experience in accounting and financial reporting.

Fabiana Kurrle – Receptionist/Junior Recruitment Consultant

Fabiana has recently joined Swift as Receptionist and Junior Recruitment Consultant. She has a degree in Human Resources and years of experience working in customer service.  Fabiana works alongside with Agnes and Krysta in the consulting side of the business. She enjoys to get and meet new people and cultures. On her free time she likes to go out with friends and family. As every good Brazilian she also enjoy to go out dancing and travelling.
